The Women Development Cell, Shivaji College, organized its second Gender Sensitisation Programme comprising workshops on awareness of domestic violence, sexual harassment at workspace, Legal Rights people have when sexually harassed and the provision of Free Legal Aid available to all women of the country. The workshops were conducted by Delhi State Legal Authority and SHEROES on 26th September 2018 represented by
Mr. Vinod Kumar Meena, and Ms. Supriya and Ms. Monica.
The speakers used real-life examples to impress the issues on the minds of the young students and held extensive interactive sessions to answer all queries emanating in the young minds. All the knowledge that students garnered today will definitely make them introspective and better their lives as well as those around them.
