Sources from the DU administration reveal that the posts have been advertised and applications have been called for. Even premiere institutions like LSR and SRCC don’t have a permanent principal since last year. South Campus colleges, which do not have a permanent principal, include Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Gargi College, Dyal Singh College (Evening) .
Other colleges which are being run by temporary arrangements are Satyawati College (Morning), Shyam Lal College, Mata Sundri College, Zakir Hussain College (Evening), Vivekananda College and PGDAV (Morning and Evening) and Aditi Mahavidyalaya College.
The daily administrative issues suffer due to the absence of a permanent head in a college. The development and execution of works is stalled. Hope the matter is resolved soon and the colleges get their respective head of institutions!
