Delhi University has released the schedule and guidelines for documents required to be submitted under the Financial Support Scheme for the 2026–2027 academic year. All registered students are required to complete the physical document verification according to the given schedule.

The Dean Students’ Welfare (DSW) Office at the University of Delhi has officially released the schedule and procedural guidelines for the offline submission of original documents under the Financial Support Scheme (FSS) for the 2026–27 academic year. Following the initial call for applications on September 23, 2026, students who successfully uploaded their documents online are now mandated to complete physical document verification.

The offline submission drive is scheduled to take place at the Multipurpose Hall, Gate No. 2, University of Delhi, running across four consecutive days from November 2 to November 5, 2026. Daily reporting slots are organised into sessions beginning at 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, and 2:30 PM, mapped strictly according to the applicants’ designated serial numbers.

The FSS program is established to extend financial assistance to deserving students across university departments, centres, and institutes. However, the DSW notification explicitly outlines strict eligibility boundaries: undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in regular constituent colleges are ineligible for the scheme. Additionally, candidates carrying any Essential Repeat (ER/F) grade in previous examinations are barred from participation.

The mandatory documents  for submission are:

  1. A Bonafide Certificate signed by the respective Department Head or Director after September 23, 2026.
  2. Self-attested family Income Tax Returns (2025–26) and PAN cards of parents and eligible unmarried siblings.
  3. Valid Family Income Certificates or EWS/OBC-NCL certificates issued after March 31, 2026 (notary-signed or student-issued income certificates are strictly prohibited).
  4. Latest mark sheets, fee receipts, the online FSS application copy, and signed undertaking forms.
  5. Bank passbook copies or cancelled cheques displaying the student’s name, account number, and IFSC code (third-party or non-student accounts will not be accepted).

For successful and seamless documentation, it is recommended that students make sure they have all the correct documents in advance and arrive at the venue well in time for their slot.
