Indeep Bakshi performs at Aurobindo’s annual fest

Sri Aurobindo College, Malviya Nagar conducted their annual fest Mehak 2014 on the 25th and 26th of February.

The first day marked performances by the host college students and the group song / dance event followed by a star performance by Neeraj Bakshi , one of the upcoming talents in Punjabi Rap Music.

The second day consisted of greater number of competitions including solo singing/dancing, duet singing, and Rock Band competitions. Candidates from various colleges like Hindu, SGND Khalsa, Motilal Nehru, Ramjas, Ram Lal Anand, Sri Aurobindo College [Evening], Deshbandhu, Galgotias and Dyal Singh also participated.

After all the events were completed and the prizes were distributed, the guest artist Indeep Bakshi took the stage. He sang his own songs, including “Saturday Saturday” which was well received by the music market in the past year and a few other songs including some from Aashiqui 2 as well.

After the event ended, one could hear chants of ‘Aurobindo ke Students Union ki Jai’ .



Ishaan Sengupta believes meeting people and understanding their differences gives him kick and a good trip.
