DSJ starts Campaign against administration

Students of DSJ have come together to protest against the unprecedented withdrawal of fee concessions by the administration.

On 8th November, 2022, multiple students from different batches and courses from the Delhi
School of Journalism (DSJ) posted photos of themselves demanding the restoration of fee
concessions. They alleged that for the past two to three months, the administration had
stopped giving the concessions and had given no justification for this sudden act.
Furthermore, the administration outrightly rejected the memorandums submitted by the
students regarding this issue.

After 4 days of protest online and in campus, yesterday, on 11th November 2022, the Vice-
Chancellor promised the protesting students that their admit cards would be issued soon and
that the deadline for the payment of fees would be extended for the next three months, after
accepting and signing a written memorandum submitted by students.

Therefore, according to an official notice by the students, the protest has been paused. All
eyes and hopes are on the administrative director J.P. Dubey, and whether he releases an
official notice by Monday. The students have announced that if their demands are not met,
they will embark on an infinite hunger strike.
