The University announced details for the Spot Admissions 2020 of seven undergraduate courses for its students.
The Delhi University on Friday released a notification which states that Spot Admissions for Entrance Based Undergraduate courses in the varsity will begin from 23 November 2020 via a Google Form, which will be made available on the official website of the University.
Admission will be made available only for the following courses:
- B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics
- Bachelor of Management Studies
- Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis)
- B.Tech. (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations)
- B.A. (Hons.) Humanities and Social Sciences
- Bachelor of Elementary Education
- Five Year Integrated Programme in Journalism
DU Admissions Process for Spot Admission:
The notice specifies that the Google Forms will only be made available from the 23rd of November 2020 to 24th November 2020. It also states that the applicants applying for Spot Admission will be allocated course/ college as per their rank merit.
After which, the allotment of seats to shortlisted applicants will be completed by 25th November 2020, and the portal will open from 00:01 am of 26th November 2020 to 11:59 pm of 26th November 2020 for shortlisted students to apply against the Spot admission. Colleges/ Departments/ Centers will then approve all such applicants who have applied in Spot admission by 5:00 pm of 27th November 2020.
The payment link for these applicants will open from 27th November till 11:59 pm on 30th November 2020. The notice further states that those applicants who are already admitted in B.El.Ed, BMS, B.A.(H), B.E and BBA(FIA) and wish to upgrade their college/ course as given in their preferences must also apply in the Spot Admission.
The notice also specified that mere submission of an application under the Spot Admission will not guarantee admission. The admission process will only be completed after successful verification of documents, the fulfilment of eligibility criteria and payment of fees within the stipulated time.
