Entrepreneurship is a hippie term to youngsters these days. Everybody wants to have the next big unicorn in the market, without taking risks and eyeing only the huge pile of cash which comes along with a successful business.
An Entrepreneur is that side of a person who is motivated to satisfy a high need of achievement in innovative and creative activities. This creative behaviour and passion to have your own idea being valued so much by customers and investors drives you even more to achieve your goal is believed to be the entrepreneurial spirit.
Your idea can be anything – from a social startup to a scalable industry – grade one and can be funded by anyone -Self Funding, Venture Capitalists, Angel Investors etc.
Many budding and bright minds tend to just focus on their idea and forget that they have entered the actual ring. This creates a chaos in new ideation processes and halts innovation. Some fields in which new entrepreneurs face problems are – Having a strong team, being able to communicate with their investors, understanding your position in the market and even disregarding the customers to maximise profits are a few key aspects to look upon.
In light of this, Entrepreneurship Cell – Shiv Nadar University decided to take over and conduct their very own Venture Summit 2019. The idea behind this is to incorporate the startup culture and implementing new ideas to boost efficiency into established corporations. The Venture Challenge 2.0 is the flagship event of the Venture Summitinviting emerging and seed-stage startups to present their ideas in front of an esteemed panel of judges consisting of Venture Capitalists and experienced Business Leaders. There will also be a StartUp Expo, a platform for startups to showcase their exclusive products and services.?
This can be a huge boost for an upcoming startup which wants to make a mark on the wall and give them an experience into the business strategies, market analysis and how well they stand against other equally creative ideas.
If you think you have that innovative idea or an established startup, participate in the Venture Challenge 2.0. Shiv Nadar University’s incubator will provide the winner seed funding opportunities, freedom from capital gain tax for three years, mentorship from industry leaders and tech experts and many more. Give yourself a challenge and apply!
