“Be the change you want to see in the world” – Mahatma Gandhi
*Save the Quest* is back with another event marking a social cause. *STQ* has been working towards the development of visually impaired students for the past few years. *White Cane Safety Day* is a national observance in the United States, celebrated on October 15 of each year since 1964. We have been inspired by it since the date is set aside to celebrate the achievements of people who are blind or visually impaired and the important symbol of their tool of independence – the white cane.
*Save The Quest with NSS Hindu College as cause partner* will be celebrating *White Cane Safety Day* on 13th October 2017.
We invite you to be a part of the *Walk-A-Thon* which is the *Fourth Edition of our walk* on the international White Cane Day, where we would be highlighting the importance of white canes in the lives of the blind people. ‘Project eye Quest’ is our project through which we work for the visually impaired. White canes give them a sense of security and they feel independent with it.
