10 Things you can only do at Jindal Literature Festival

Sahityam, O.P. Jindal Global University’s Literature Festival, is scheduled from September 28th to 30th, 2018. The Festival celebrates all forms of Art with Panel Discussions and Author’s Talks throughout the day. These will witness authors and poets from all across India flying down to Sonipat to deliver a slice of life from their articulate perspectives. Laden with competitions and food stalls- all sorts of hunger are sure to be satisfied at the Lit Fest organized in J-Town. There will also be a Stand Up Comedy Act by Kishore Dayani and a Play Performance based on Agatha Christie’s work to entertain the audience during the evenings. Bookstalls by Publishers such as Taylor and Francis and Dorling Kindersley, Penguin and Harper Collins shall adorn the University during the course of this Festival.

10 Things you can only do at Jindal Literature Festival

1. Revel in the goodness of living in and around Delhi with Saif Mahmood’s rendition of his poetic book and Swapna Liddle’s narrative of the Literary History of Monuments.
2. Listen to Rakhshanda Jalil and talk about Nawazudin Siddique’s Manto in your friends’ circle to sound intellectual
3. Laugh with Kishore Dayani- A Canvas Laugh Club Comedian
4. Figure out poetry beyond rhyming with Poets like Akhil Katyal, Nabina Das, CP Surendran, Sudhanshu Firdaus, Arvind Joshi, Huzaifa Pandit, Arunava Sinha, Nitoo Das and Ankush Tiwari.
5. Learn all that there is, the hardwork behind and the rewards of story writing with Saikat Majumdar, Lipika Bhushan, Juggi Bhasin, Meenakshi Reddy Madhavan, Ritu Lalit, Aarish Chhabra and Rita Kothari
6. Meet the stalwarts: Gurcharan Das, Ayesha Kidwai and Anjum Hasan

What do you need to do?

Come to Haiderpur Metro Station on 28th September 2018. O.P. Jindal Global University will arrange for your transport- to and from the University, once you reach the Metro Station.
