Currently in its fifth year of successful operation, Asmat is an NGO founded and run by students of Delhi University. We began our first project in the village of Soda in district Tonk, Rajasthan where we worked for three years under the guidance of the Sarpanch, Ms. Chhavi Rajawat who is the first woman Sarpanch in India with an MBA. Last summer, Asmat set its social intervention tent in Ahmadpur Darewala, a village in district Sirsa in Haryana, in collaboration with
Mr.Aditya Devilal-member of the Zila Parishad in Haryana.
We are delighted to apprise that Asmat NGO has opened applications for the Summer Internship Program-2018. Our internship involves:
– Work on various socio economic issues such as governance and entrepreneurship, education, substance abuse, health and sanitation, financial inclusion, etc.
-Get an opportunity to work extensively with Mr.Aditya Devilal, grandson of the former Deputy PM Mr. Devilal Chautala and member of the Zila Parishad in Haryana
-Interact with like minded people and connect with alumni who have made it to institutions like Oxford , LSE , Yale, BCG, Dalberg and carried the baton of change to platforms like Teach for India, LAMP Fellowship ,Gandhi Fellowship.
